IELTS bands requirements

The minimum score required varies per institute. Normally, for post graduation diplomas, overall 6 bands are required and for master’s program, 6.5 bands are needed.

Number of Intakes

Again, it depends upon the university or college the number of intakes they conduct every year. Generally, for post graduation diploma, intake happens 3 times a year in the months of September, January and May. And for master’s program 2 times a year in the month of September.

Duration

Normally it takes 1-2 years to complete post graduation courses in Canada i.e. 1-2 years for both post graduation diplomas and master’s program. In addition to this if the master’s is thesis-based then it may take more than 2 years.
